2. Your Business Data (Customer Data)
Data Controller vs. Data Processor
The data we store falls into two distinct categories, defining our role and usage rights:
- Data You Directly Input (POS/Customer Page): You, the store owner, are the **"Data Controller"** of all data you manually input or generate (e.g., in POS, Customer Records). Drykun acts strictly as the **"Data Processor"** for this data. We will **never use this directly inputted data for our own marketing, advertising, or profiling purposes.**
- Data Received via Marketplace: If you receive customer information (name, address, phone) via a **Marketplace Pickup Request**, Drykun may act as a **joint Data Controller** or an independent processor for that specific data set. We reserve the right to use this **Marketplace-sourced data** for promotional communication regarding your store's services, as agreed upon with the Marketplace partner.
Data Security and Control
- We securely store the data you enter, including all **Customer Records**, **Staff/Rider details**, **Order History**, **Inventory**, and **Financial Records**.
- **You retain control:** You can access, modify, or delete your Customer Data at any time using the functions within the Service (e.g., deleting a customer or staff member).
3. How We Use Information
We use the data collected solely for the following purposes:
- **Service Provision & Improvement:** To operate, maintain, and provide the core functionality you pay for (e.g., processing orders, generating reports).
- **Operational Functionality:** Utilizing store and customer location data for calculating delivery routes and assigning tasks to riders.
- **Communication:** Sending essential technical notices, security alerts, service updates, and billing information.
- **Internal Analytics:** Analyzing aggregate usage trends to enhance application performance and user experience (e.g., dashboard stats).
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
Drykun does not sell or rent user or customer data to any third parties. We may share data only under the following limited conditions:
- **Third-Party Providers:** We use third-party tools like **Firebase (Google)** for database storage, authentication, and hosting. These providers are obligated to protect your information and Customer Data.
- **Service Operation:** Sharing minimal necessary data between store admin and the assigned rider (e.g., customer name, phone, address for delivery tasks).
